Dr. La Trice Washington has appeared on local and national news broadcasts. She is a Ph.D in American Government, Public Administration and Electoral Politics. She provides expertise on socio-political issues such as campaigns and elections, presidential politics, legislative process, American national government and public policy analysis. She has appeared on Channel 10 news in Columbus, OH. During the 2016 presidential election, Dr. Washington appeared on MSNBC show "A Place for Politics" hosted by Chris Jansing.

The Christian Science Monitor news stories focussed on the presidential primaries and the general election. She was interviewed by a New York Times journalist and quoted in the story about Governor Chris Christie's alleged involvement in the "Bridgegate Scandal."

Dr. La Trice Washington is the author of two books. Her first book was her dissertation manuscript titled The Veteran's Millennium Health Care Act of 1999: A Case Study of Legislators, The President and Interest Groups which was published by University Press of America in 2003. Dr. Washington's second book titled Political Scandals: The Consequence of Temporary Gratification (2014) chronicles political scandals from 2000 - 2012; the book treats both sex based and non-sex-based scandals. Both books are available for purchase on Amazon and University Press/Roman and Littlefield.
